BiographyThere probably are millions of people in the world having experienced an NDE. Maybe just a small percentage of those persons have shared their experiences. Fortunately nowadays the world is more broadminded and much more open to such accounts.
Sometimes, and of course this is very rare, the same person has a second NDE. Gordon Allen is an exception to all the rules. Gordon has had as many as 5 NDE’s the last of which lasted for 6 entire days!!
Gordon’s story is a fascinating one. When asked about it he good humouredly jokes that ‘God does not want him on the other side yet’.
5 NDE’s:
- Gordon’s first NDE he had at the young age of 12 when he was hastily transported to the hospital with a complicated and ruptured appendicitis. He contracted buikvliesontsteking and had his first NDE. After spending 3 weeks in the hospital, he came out an altered person. ‘As from that moment my life changed. I knew that everything depended on me, and that it was up to me to find my way in this world. From a child I turned into a young adult and never was the same again.’
- Gordon’s second NDE took place in 1993. Gordon wasn’t feeling well for weeks and was not even able to lay down for sleep anymore. He had to sit up to sleep with pillows behind him to enable him to breath. He was planning on going to the doctor but wanted to get his work finished first. He had called the doctor who told him to wait until the next day and then come for a checkup. Spending the night breathing heavily, Gordon went to the doctor who on seeing his patient put him in a wheelchair to take him to the intensive care unit. On the way there, sitting in the wheelchair, Gordon died. As soon as Gordon died, he was transported out of his body. ‘The next thing I knew was that I was leaving and travelling. I did not feel any pain, my body was no burden. I felt light and wonderful. I saw beautiful colours beyond compare. Very difficult to describe because we simple do not have them on earth. I was welcomed in a domain of love. I was totally overwhelmed by this feeling of unconditional love. The love so deep, I was totally overwhelmed by it. It was so beautiful’ Even now, on accounting the experience, all these years later, Gordon remembers his NDE as if it took place only yesterday. Tears well up in his eyes as he remembers the totality of the love that surrounded him. It was totally unconditional, hard to compare to anything we know. Closest thing we have on earth is the love of the mother for the newborn child, totally unconditional. It was overwhelming to me. During this NDE, Gordon was awaited by spiritual beings. These spiritual beings turned out to be his special guides. They communicated to him they had been around him and with him all throughout his life. And now they were welcoming him as a long lost brother they loved deeply and unequivocally. They took the time to reveal spiritual teachings to Gordon. Not so much as a professor teaching the student, but rather as uncovering the veil that had been laying over knowledge that was inherent in Gordon’s being. A knowledge so deep that had been laying dormant, and now was being revived by them. This knowledge was true spiritual knowledge, inherent to all human beings, but hidden deep inside. True spiritual seekers may uncover that inner knowledge, others will never encounter it in themselves because they are simply unaware of the fact they possess it. Gordon was being told that it was possible for him to stay in the spiritual domain. If he wanted to, there was no need for him to go back to earth. Gordon considered this. He knew that in fact he could follow his desire and stay in this beautiful realm. His children were grown up and married. They did not need him anymore. He was being pointed out that should he go to the left and cross a certain ‘threshold’ there would be no return. The spiritual beings left the choice up to Gordon, however they made it clear that God had this special mission for him. Gordon being a man of great skills and talents, he could now use those talents for the benefit of his fellow man. However the choice was up to him. Reluctantly Gordon decided to have God drive his car. If God had a mission for him, not possible to be selfish and stay on in that loving domain. No, he had to go back and share his new found knowledge with those he left behind on earth. Gordon did not cross the threshold and was thrust back into his body.
- The third NDE that Gordon had was inflicted in a way by the doctors. He namely had to undergo a cardio version, during which he had an NDE.
The thing was that after his second NDE Gordon’s body, as he himself states, got ‘reset’. Meaning that he now became very vulnerable and pure, like a newborn baby, only he was a man of 55. Gordon felt totally bulletproof after his NDE. ‘I guess you could say that having lived this experience had me put on pink coloured glasses. I felt totally protected by God. I simply knew for a fact that nothing, absolutely nothing bad would happen to me. Even though my health was not good at all, I simply knew that God had me protected and I could bear anything.’
Which was true, because Gordon’s life was hanging on a thread. After his second NDE, the doctors discovered that Gordon had a brain tumor and in order to remove that, he had to undergo a radical craniotomy. A major operation of considerable risk. However Gordon entered the operation room smiling and feared nothing. ‘I was and I still am bullet proof’ he states smiling. - The fourth of Gordon’s NDE’s was again after a tumor in his back was being removed. Gordon has not specific memories of this NDE other than that the love and the colours of the experience are so beautiful that words will never be adequate enough to describe them. Gordon surprises the medical world time and time again because of the sheer impossible things that happen to him and his always surviving them. Not in the least the miraculous 5th NDE…
- In 2005 Gordon once again had an NDE. An amazing story. He had just been to visit his GP for a routine checkup. The doctor had taken blood tests and all that. Everything was totally fine. Gordon’s health was as right as rain. Two hours later he was in his apartment changing clothes, he had just let in a counselling client who was waiting for him in his living room. Suddenly Gordon felt unwell. He felt he was crashing and shouted to the visitor to call 911, however that person was so shocked he accidentally unplugged the telephone and ran out to a neighbour to use the phone. In the meantime Gordon had reached the bathroom where he fell on the floor and passed out. Fortunately the ambulance was nearby and the paramedics showed up just minutes after Gordon died. They revived him in his apartment, put him in the ambulance and drove him to the hospital. During the ride they lost him, but managed to get him back again. At the hospital Gordon died. Nobody knew who this tall man was, they had brought him in naked and so no wallet with a name was there to shed light on who he was. Miraculously a nurse who came in recognised Gordon from the time he had his second NDE. She could tell the doctors about Gordon and about his miraculous healing the first time. This made the doctors decide to put Gordon on life support. There was simply the faintest trickle of electricity between the heart and the brain. In fact Gordon was clinically dead. The doctors were utterly puzzled. They had no diagnosis whatsoever and simply did not know what to do with him. They expected him to die soon.
Gordon however, was already living the most amazing out of body experience. He was being awaited by his spiritual guides and was shown the most amazing teachings and revelations.
For 6 days and nights, Gordon was on life support. Only 4 days after being brought to the hospital, his son learned about his father being in the hospital and his children cam08-Jun-2008 15:30s during that period, no08-Jun-2008 15:30y he awoke. He came back into his body and was very much surprised to learn that he had been away for 6 entire days. For all he knew he had been in the dimension parallel to ours for just one day.
Gordon did not have any problems physically other than being weakened by not having eaten. The next day he got up and decided to go home. The doctors were totally astonished. There he went, that tall man, as right as rain, simply walked home. He was never diagnosed and until this very day the doctors do not know what on earth had been the cause to all this.
Gordon however smiles, he feels that it was just his spiritual guides taking him ‘home’ for a while in order to share and reveal teachings to him. ‘It was just God driving the car, that’s all’
